Kundalini by the Moon

Full Moon Kundalini Yoga class held Monthly on or around the full Moon
Where possible we will practice outdoors directly under the healing and cleansing powers of the full moon. Throughout the winter classes will be indoors

All of my classes are suitable for every body, flexibility isn’t a condition for practicing yoga… If you can breathe, you can do yoga

What to expect in a class

Kundalini yoga classes are a beautifully balanced mix of Mantra, breathwork, dynamic physical postures, deep relaxation and meditation.

The aim to is build physical strength, enhance our vitality and balance our mind, body and soul. Kundalini yoga will strengthen your connection to yourself and the universe.

Each class layout will be the same:

We tune in with a mantra to set the space and for protection, we then follow a kriya (set of exercises) focusing on a certain theme; the heart, back, releasing stress, for radiance, kidneys etc

We will then have a deep relaxation followed by a meditation

We end by tuning out with a mantra

The different kriyas are designed very specifically to release and shift our energy in a sequential order, this allows us to feel a physical and energetic transformation very quickly.

The Studio is small holding around 9 students which allows for an intimate and peaceful space where we can heal, release and have fun

We use lots of music during the classes to invoke a sense of relaxation, uplift our energy and to assist with meditations

Yoga literally means ‘union’
By practicing we aim to strengthen the union between mind, body and spirit

Tune in
We use a mantra at the start of each class
Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo

The use of sound to adjust our consciousness

A set of exercises – each class we practice a different kriya focusing on different aspects of our being – the liver, heart, spine, tiredness, anger

Exercises for the mind

Breath work. Prana is our life force that we inhale with each breath

Energy that sits at the base of our spine which we aim to raise whilst practicing yoga to raise our consciousness

Love is the ultimate state of human behavior where compassion prevails and kindness rules
Man cannot live without love
